A Massive Touchscreen Offers Recognition to Donors

The National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) is a major addition both to Philadelphia's cultural landscape and to the study of the American Jewish experience. From Ellis Island to the present day, the museum offers a rich and compelling examination of American Jewish history. None of this would be possible without the support of the museum's thousands of individual, foundation and corporate donors.

Seeking to recognize the contributions and support of their donor base, NMAJH approached Bluecadet to produce a touchscreen interactive. This interactive, delivered via a 46 inch touchscreen mounted prominently in the museum, offers the visitor a variety of tools to find, sort and explore the donor pool. A user approaching the interactive can search by name, region or zip code. Alternatively, they can select a state on a giant map, which in turn brings up a subset of cities and towns.

The donor list, with well over 10,000 records, is generated from a simple work flow built out of NMAJH's existing CRM, Raiser's Edge.

The Donor Interactive not only makes it simple and fun to find a donor, but also serves to demonstrate the wide appeal and public support for the establishment of this compelling national museum.
